Partnership between World YWCA and UNDP Gender Team established
A meeting between World YWCA staff and the UNDP Gender Team concluded in commitment to partner on work in the area of HIV and AIDS and UN Security Resolution 1325 on women, peace and security.
In line with the fifty-second session of the Committee of the Status of Women (CSW) theme of ‘Financing for Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment’, the partnership will promote the issue of financing for fragile states.
Both organisations work on HIV and AIDS as a priority area and want to address the gender dimensions of the pandemic.
